Nazier Jacobs of Polokwane City fights for his life in hospital
Polokwane City midfielder Nazier “Kaka” is battling with a critical but stable injuries after a car crash last week Friday in Polokwane’s City center. The soccer star was reportedly driving home on Friday midnight into Saturday morning when had an accident in his new VW Polo.
Polokwane FC issued a statement stating that Jacobs is in a critical but stable condition, saying that the timing of the event is still sketchy at the moment.
A source disclosed that Nazier is being treated at a private hospital for rib and spine injuries. His car, bought just four days before, was wrecked beyond repair and written off.
Polokwane Club spokesperson Tumelo Makgoara said Kaka is fighting for his life in intensive care but is getting top care at a private hospital in Limpopo. Makgoara said the club is working with the police and family to try and put the puzzles of what happened on that morning and also seek closure. “Since the accident, the spirit of players and staff is very down. We are always holding hands, praying for our fellow player,” he said.

Colonel Ronel Otto said she couldn’t confirm the accident as she didn’t have any information.
The 25-year old former Milano United midfielder in in his first season with Rise and Shine (Polokwane City). Nazier joined Polokwane City last June. He is a key player and usually in the couch’s starting line-up.
He played in last week’s match against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium.
