Mamelodi extended their lead at the top of the PSL score board table to 9 points after their victory to Orlando Pirates 2-1 last night at Orlando Stadium. Pirates came out in storm in the second half with intentions of getting back into the game and they pulled one goal courtesy of a free kick by Mpho Makola.
The Buccaneers tried to plow forward through the dense jungle to get the equalizer goal, but Sundowns were solid in defense and closed out the game to take a firm grasp of the top spot at the top in the league.
