he Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) says it will open a case of corruption against Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan on Tuesday.
The announcement comes just hours after Gordhan laid three criminal charges against Julius Malema and his deputy Floyd Shivambu.
The minister has taken action after the EFF accused him of corruption and alleged his daughter had benefited from doing business with the government.
Earlier on Monday, Gordhan confirmed that he will approach the Equality Court to lay a complaint against the leader of the EFF Julius Malema and his deputy Floyd Shivambu.
Gordhan has also laid three charges of criminal defamation, crimen injuria and incitement of violence against the pair, at the Brooklyn police station, East of Pretoria earlier.
His lawyer Tebogo Malatji says the statements were hurtful and were intended to incite hatred.
