The Tsheoga family in Tsantsabela village, Elandskraal is appealing
to members of the public to help them locate their missing daughter who
was allegedly kidnapped from school last month.
17-year-old Mavis Manikie Tsheoga was allegedly kidnapped along with
her 15-year-old sister Rancia Tsheoga by an unknown suspect driving a
silver-grey BMW on the 12th November 2019 while standing along the road,
hitchhiking to school.
According to a police report, the suspect drove them to a secluded
spot, produced a firearm and tied up both girls and used a jacket to
cover their faces.
However, the 15-year-old sibling was freed at Ga Molapo village,
outside Zebediela after the suspect untied her and gave her money to
return home.
Manikie who is brown in complexion and medium height was last seen wearing a sky-blue skirt and grey skirt school uniform.
Her aunt, Kgaugelo Tsheoga says the family is going through a hard time since her disappearance.She says they have not heard a single word of hope leading to her recovery ever since. She says they are calling for public assistance in locating her.
