Limpopo-based Independent Economist Kwena Matjekane is cautioning
against premature celebrations ahead of the petrol price decrease this
month.
The Automobile Association predicted that the petrol price is expected to drop by about 16 cents a litre in November.
Matjekane says the rand has been performing well in October and that has contributed to the decrease.
He says geopolitical tensions between America and Iran have a
significant impact on the prices and that we shouldn’t celebrate as yet
as things might change.
