After the Sunday papers reported that
Andile Jali (28) had been battling with alcohol due to several sources
who had divulged the news to the publication, his wife, Nonhle Jali
vehemently denied that her husband was under any substance abuse.
However, in
a twist of events, it has now been confirmed that Andile Jali was
arrested on Monday due to a domestic violence incident between him and
his wife Nonhle at their private residence.
According to Mzansinews, it is reported that Andile and Nonhle were embroiled in an argument which spiralled out of control leading Nonhle to run for cover in her car.
It's alleged that during the altercation, Andile had damaged his wife's car. The soccer star was arrested on Monday and was set to appear at the Hatfield Community Court today, 30 October 2018.
Andile has been charged with assault and malicious damage to property.
In May, Andile was allegedly arrested for drinking under the influence and had spent the night in jail, he was only released after a R1000 bail was paid for his release.
In recent years and considering all the drama that has surrounded Nonhle and Andile when it comes to their relationship and their professional lives, the couple together with their kids have been living a quiet life away from the media.
The only public media appearance Nonhle made recently was when she appeared on Top Billing while she was pregnant with their twins.
The two have become so private that Nonhle didn't even announce that she had given birth to the twins. The parents only began showing pictures of their twins when they were only a few months old.
